Gramado-RS, September 23, 2015 - The Hotel Bangalôs da Serra and the Municipal School Henrique Bertoluci Nephew of Gramado-RS, concluded the seventh edition of the project "Knowing and Understanding Hospitality" on September 22 with the presence of students and teachers of the protagonists of the School initiative, local government authorities and artists and craftsmen of the city.
Denise Foss, Assistant Secretary of Education, thanked the partnership's Hotel, pointed out that other hotels were partners of schools and stated that the approval of the Education Plan in the city will further strengthen tourism and environmental awareness of the younger generation. Secretary of Tourism, Rosa Helena Volk, stressed the Hotel's historic commitment to education and the spread of lawn that being a small town, has positioned itself as the first tourist destination in Brazil.

Seven years forming citizens
In 2015, they were part of the initiative 16 adolescents aged 14 to 16 years of the ninth year of elementary school. Since 2009, seven classes totaling 140 students have participated in the project, which lasts three months.
In the 3-month project Knowing and Understanding Hospitality, Sustainability was the focus of all actions. The history of design Knowing and Understanding Hospitality starts in mid-2005 when the children of the initial series came to know the hotel and do some fun activities.
