Recital Music Among Friends

The second recital of classical and modern music among friends in Minnesota took place on January 9 at 19.30 h at Hotel Bangalôs da Serra of Gramado, Mozé Street Scur, 1511, Casagrande Neighborhood.

The event had the presence of interpreters Douglas Wagner (guitar) and Magali Bielski Serafim (Flute), and was open to the community with free admission.


The guitar and the flute staged a special night. Among the works selected for the recital were Toada, Dimitri Cervo (1968); Fantasie, of Georg Philipp Telemann (1681 - 1767); Cappuccino with panache and Kwafee, Dusan Bogdanovic (1955); Sarabande and Bourée Anglaise, Johann Sebastian Bach (1685 - 1750), among others.

Douglas Wagner was one of 100 selected from 17,000 entries from all over the country to the international mobility program Formula Santander to study at the New University of Lisbon in Portugal Magali Bielski Serafim, is currently living in Fortaleza. - EC, where in addition to touching the Chamber Orchestra of the Federal University of Ceará (UFC), is completing the Bachelor of Music from the same institution, having as a teacher of flute to French Adeline Stervinou.

Hotel Bangalôs da Serra, worried about the cultural development of the community, supports cultural activities and local artists through various social and environmental projects, such as recitals, the Space Craft Gramadense, Knowing and Understanding Hospitality and Seeding Sustainability, the latter two in partnership with the Municipal School Henrique Bertolucci Nephew.

Call for solidarity

The artists

Douglas Wagner: College of Music, Faculty EST São Leopoldo (2012). Currently pursuing Bachelor of strings - guitar at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul - UFRGS, under the guidance of Prof. Paulo Inda.Teaches popular and classical guitar since 2009 and is presented in recitals in New York City, Caxias do Sul and Porto Alegre. He did lessons with the highlights of national and international guitar players like Thiago Colombo (Brazil), Eduardo Fernández (Spain), Giuseppe Zinchiro (Italy) and Stanley Yates (United States). Recently it was one of 100 selected from 17,000 entries from all over the country to the international mobility program Formula Santander to study at the New University of Lisbon in Portugal.

Magali F. Bielski Serafim: it began the flute study in São Leopoldo under Professor at the Federal University of Santa Maria (UFSM), Tita Sartor. Then we did private lessons with flutist of OSPA, Arthur Elias Carneiro.In 2012 he entered the Bachelor of Music at UFRGS, which was guided by the teacher and also a musician of OSPA, Leonardo Winter. This period was flutist of the New Hamburg Wind Orchestra (OSNH) and Symphony Orchestra Lawn (OSG); was flute professor at the Youth Orchestra of Novo Hamburgo (OJNH), the Youth Orchestra of Lawn (OJG) and Presto Music School of São Leopoldo; It was a fellow in the course of Arts in Basic Education UFRGS; and has participated in several courses, such as Santa Catarina Music Festival, studying with Alberto Almarza (Chile) and Curt Schoeter (Milan); Music Festival from Caxias do Sul Chamber, studying with Toninho Carrasqueira (Quintet Villa Lobos) and Sergio Barrenechea (UNIRIO); masterclass with Michel Bellavance (Switzerland) and Elena Cecconi (Italy). He is currently living in Fortaleza - CE, where, besides playing in the Chamber Orchestra of the Federal University of Ceará (UFC), is completing the Bachelor of Music from the same institution, having as a teacher of flute to French Adeline Stervinou.
