Seeding Sustainability encourages changes

Time to prepare a tasty carrot brigadier and a nutritious beet cake. Feeling the flavors of the earth, the first edition of Sowing Sustainability Project is ended on Wednesday (10) at the Hotel Bungalows da Serra Gramado-RS in partnership with the Municipal School Henrique Bertolucci Sobrinho with the certainty that education should encourage the preservation of local culture and the environment, and respect for the land and food that it can be drawn.

Thirteen students of the 3rd primary school series protagonists of this initiative, accompanied by teachers of the school and staff of the hotel. The theoretical and practical course of three months begins with classes that promote the nutritional value of food and the notion that environmental balance is key to the sustainability of life of any living thing on earth. The work in the garden and in the kitchen ends with a tasting of the sown, grown and harvested food.
